As a supplementary PNS project to the overarching KOICA-PMC project “Enhancing Social Rehabilitation Support for the Vulnerable Youth in Indonesia”, this project aims to contribute to its impact, that is, similar to its title: to have an improved social rehabilitation of the vulnerable youth in Indonesia. Within the project itself, its end purpose is that the improved social rehabilitation would ultimately lead towards improved self-resilience, hence well-being, of the youths enrolled in the centers. Self-resilience and well-being in this context are defined in the way that youth cope emotionally and mentally, gain self-confidence, adapt to difficult situations, gain and utilize their life skills, and understand and apply safeguarding measures in their day-to-day lives. Through these, the youth are hoped to be led to widened opportunities towards a better quality of life.
