Digital Library in Sentani

Digital Library in Sentani

Children in Papua possess incredible potential. They're incredibly enthusiastic about learning new things, despite significant challenges and a substantial literacy gap compared to children in other provinces.

There's a great deal we can do to break down the existing barriers in Papua. One way is by leveraging technology to develop a digital learning platform that can be used by children, adults, and even those with disabilities.

We invite you to get involved in providing a DIGITAL LIBRARY, a literacy facility equipped with digital information resources, including: audio books, laptops, servers, internet access, learning equipment, and tutor training and support.

This programme will impact over 1,700 children and adults living in two villages in Sentani Regency, Papua.

The facility will also maximise the effectiveness of the Reading Houses we've already established together in Sentani. These serve as non-formal learning spaces where children can expand their knowledge, hone their creativity, and find inspiration for their futures.

Let's help the children of Papua gain access to the same quality of education as children in other regions.
